Hi,

most of you would like to use SiriProxy over 3g. In order to do so we need to run two processes of SiriProxy.
Why?
Because the iphone 4s is not jailbroken and we can`t change the assistant.plist.
So we need a SiriProxy on port 443 with guzzoni certificate to connect the 4s.
On Jailbroken devices we can use any certificate on any port.
So we need to run a second process on a different port (In this case port 1000) with a certificate containing the static ip or dyndns of your machine. The new certificates should be named server.passless2.key and crt

Here is a package of SiriProxy with 2 processes.

You need to start the Proxy twice. Once with start.rb and once start2.rb

If you already have a running Proxy just copy start2.rb and siriProxy2.rb into your folder and start the start2.rb
On your phone, add the new certificate and edit the com.apple.assistant.plist (https://yourdyndns.org:1000)

If you are behind a router you need to setup the port forwarding.

copy code.
remove returns.
replace the "XX" with "the anwser to life, the universe and everything"

After various requests over and over again i managed to get some friends as a "support team".

Hey folks,

it's christmas time and of couse i spent a lot of hours with family and friends .. and therefore there were no updates at all. This whole blog is a free time project and i try at least moderate the comments and anwsering a bit. But don't be angry if it takes a while.. as i said.. i do all this for free and in my (rare) free time!

A little bit late but maybe interesting:

We finally have untethered jailbeak for iPhone 4 =)

Untethered? Whats that?

Jailbreaking your iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS was only possible tethered. This means whenever you have to restart / reboot your iPhone you had to be at your PC. Now you finally can reboot / restart whenever you want :)

If you allready have a tethered jailbreak be sure to uncheck the "install cydia". Thats all you have to look at!
